A landmine explosion.
A statement about this incident was released by Dean O'Brien, a freelance photographer documenting the conflict in Donbass, Eastern Ukraine. His statement read, "This is the woman who was earlier blown up by a mine in Gorlovka. She had her left leg torn off when a mine exploded while innocently picking mushrooms. Yet again, another innocent victim caught up in this brutal conflict."
Dean O'Brien then concluded his statement by writing that, "Correspondents are on site now at the hospital with the woman. This X-ray shows how her left foot was blown off by the mine and they say she is in critical condition."
