Accident Occurs in Northern Bypass ;Residents Now Demand for Speed Bumps as Accidents Soar

Residents of Those Estate Now Wants Kenya Urban Roads Authority to Place Speed Bumps at The Nairobi Northern Bypass at The Marurui section.

Speaking to the Wananchi Reporting, The Residents Claimed that the accidents has increased in the area which they attribute to careless driving and speeding by drivers. Matatus and Lories are Said to be the notorious for over speeding In the section as they flout traffic rules.

“This is not the first incident. We have experienced so many accidents on this road. If only the relevant authorities would erect speed bumps along this road,” said David Ngurani, a resident said.

He added while saying that due to the many clubs and eateries coming up in the area, there has been increased human traffick and adviced that something should be done urgently.

In The Last Month, DCI employee Mr. Boniface Muganda is reported to have been hit by a Motorist speeding on the road as he headed home. He was then Rushed to Kenyatta University Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to the injuries he received in the accident.
