The residents of Kaptinga village in Uasin Gishu are still in shock after they found the body of a 34-year-old killed and her body maimed in what seemed she was raped before being subjected to a brutal murder.
The body was identified as that of Prisca Cherobon after her parents viewed her body. According to her mother, her body was badly mutilated and dumped beside the road.

“I am deeply saddened by the turn of events. Those assailants badly mutilated my daughter before dumping her body here. She didn't have her underwear and the state of the body is worrying that I can't even describe it,” she said amid sobs.
Chief David Kiptoo confirmed the incident and said that police in the area have already started an investigation into the matter and all the suspects will be brought to book soon.
The body was taken to the mortuary awaiting autopsy as burial arrangements are ongoing.
