Residents of Kabati village in Zombe; Kitui County were taken by surprise this Yesterday On Wednesday Evening after one of the villagers, who is said to be having psychological problems decided to lop off his genitals.
The 18 year old man is said to have taken razor blade, sliced off his manhood and began feeding on it before the vigilant residents took hold of him and requested for Ambulance services which rushed him to Kitui level 5 hospital for further medical care.
The un identified man is said to be recuperating and fighting for his life at the hospital. One of the residents cited that the man has been always up to weired and risky behaviours for his life and that this was not first incidence.
"The man has mental issues and has been on drugs, there is one time that he set himself on fire and jumped into a dam,” he said.
"Today evening he cut off his private parts and started eating. He was picked by an ambulance and rushed to the hospital,” the man added.
