A youthful woman was allegedly stabbed to death by a man said to be his lover in Molo Nakuru county
According to the DCI report, the suspect Moses Njeri is believed to have stabbed 28-year-old girlfriend Hannah Ndirangu in the chest during a heated argument over an unspecified issue.
The Start reports that the suspect then fled the scene after he had killed the woman
"The suspect is believed to have escaped through the opening of the house," DCI boss Mohamed Amin said in a statement.
DCI noted that the suspect used a kitchen knife to commit the shocking murder. Her lifeless body was first discovered by neighbours who then informed the police.
"Detectives based at DCI Molo who rushed to the scene after being notified of the incident recovered a bloodstained vegetable knife, suspected to be the murder weapon," Amin said.
A manhunt has since been launched to bring the suspect into a book.
May the soul of the woman rest in peace.
