The family of Agnes Tirop has finally buried their daughter in a very high profile burial. The funeral took place at their Mosoriot home in Nandi county. Agnes Tirop was buried as a number of athletes from Kenya and other countries attended to grant her the last respect on earth.
The burial was attended by several high profile people from all over the the world. While the casket was being sunk inside the grave, we had a number of people singing Christian melodies to the international long distance runner who was silenced in a very sad way by her husband.

Various female athletes who attended the funeral called upon their various leaders to stop the gender based violence happening in the country. One of the athletes asked Uhuru Kenyatta, Susan Kihika among other women representatives were lectured over the increased gender based violence across the country. May her soul rest in peace.
