Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja has made an late night announcement through her social media account Twitter. Through a statement Sakaja has announced that there will be no night clubs in residential areas.
This was after a complaint from Nairobi residents that the night clubs would make noise to them while they are sleeping. This announcement means that any club operator who will be found operating their business during the night will have their licenses revoked.
This move is also meant to reduce the immorality that has been there in the clubs at nights. This ban has elicited mixed reactions from Nairobi residents.
Some of the residents have supported the move while some of them have opposed the move made by Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja.
