In a statement, Ngugi explained that she was sitting on the front left of the vehicle when one of the wheels came off.
She added that the vehicle had been serviced on Friday, before she embarked on her journey.
"All I saw were sparks and smoke...At that very moment, I was reminded that God is still on the throne and to never doubt His love for us."
"I have never doubted that I am protected, guarded and loved by Him. His Grace is indeed sufficient. All of us are safe and sound and enjoying the calmness and peace of God," she noted.
Further, she expressed gratitude to her brother only identified as Dan who managed to take control of the vehicle.
Ngugi is a Youtuber who focuses on human interest stories and spearheading campaigns that help the downtrodden in the society.
According to statistics by NTSA released in September 2021, cases of road accidents in 2021 have risen compared to a similar period last year.The survey indicated that fatalities had increased by 25 percent as of September 20, 2021.
The accidents were attributed to reckless driving, dangerous overtaking, drunk driving, drunk walking, drunk riding, failure to use helmets among other issues.
NTSA called upon all Kenyan road users to follow all the traffic rules and regulations in order to reduce the increasing rate of accidents in the country.
