Four Grannies Burnt To Ashes For Allegedly Bewitching A Student In Nyamira

Contradictive news has emerged from Nyamira about 4 grandmothers aged 70 years and above who allegedly bewitched a form two student. According to The Standard, it has been revealed that the four grannies made her loose the ability to talk. The incident happened at Bomokona village in Marani based in Nyamira County.

It is said that the residents had to initiate a process that would help the form two student to gain back the voice. After doing this, the boy named the four grannies who were lynched one by one to ashes. The residents visited them one by one as they set them on flames for doing such an act to an innocent boy.

It is said that police have arrested four people in connection to the merciless lynching of the four grannies. This happens as it is said that there is an ongoing mob lynching of elderly people in connection to witchcraft in the area.
