There was a somber mood at Bahati Estate after a teacher was accidentally hit by a lorry while walking.
According to the source, the teacher was allegedly drunk and was walking along the road. The driver of the lorry flaunted some of the traffic rules by driving at a high speed. The vehicle hit the teacher and died on the spot. Traffic police officers were informed and the body was taken to the morgue.
