The suspect is asserted to have slashed off the neck and legs of his 23-year-old spouse on Thursday night, May 20 after the two clashed.
On Friday morning, residents tracked down the ravaged body of the young lady in her marital house, and from there on alarmed police.
As indicated by neighbors, the suspect was heard taking steps to hurt his significant other.
"They have been battling, and he generally takes steps to execute her at whatever point a question emerges. He has done it this time round," said Margaret Cheptoo, a neighbor.
The presume ran away from the area subsequent to submitting the deplorable demonstration, police said.
He was, in any case, captured later on.
Region OCPD Charles Laboso disclosed that the suspect is being kept at Kaptagat Police Station.
Laboso said the presume will be accused of murder once examinations are finished.
The deceased was moved to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue.
