An Emotional Letter of A Teenager From West Pokot To Her Sponsor Which Says A Lot About Our Country.

June Pkyach, a form one student from West Pokot has sent an emotional text of appreciation and Thanksgiving to her sponsor. The move has left the social media users talking. Overwhelmed with joy, the girl from a Marginalized area and community has explained how poverty and hunger has striken the people of West Pokot leaving many dead. The girl has appreciated for being taken to Pangani girls high school which is among the best national schools in Kenya. To her, she never imagined that she could get such a chance in life. 

She is still imagining how her people back at home are languishing in poverty while some parts of the country are eating three meals a day and throwing the leftovers! This life is indeed unfair to some. Her handwriting is amazing and is a clear picture of a bright and serious girl.

She aspires to become a leader in her community so that she can liberate her people. May her dreams of becoming a future leader in our country be fulfilled. The letter is a true reflection on what many Kenyans are going through especially in marginalized communities like West Pokot, maasai, Turkana among other counties .

May our leaders focus on how to change the situation of our people and country.
