The burial of late veteran news anchor Catherine Kasavuli is set to be held today at her home in Zululu, Vihiga county.
Her neighbours have mourned her as a woman who was generous, just like her father Ezekiel Kasavuli. Jason Agoya, a neighbour revealed that whenever she visited home, she was always busy.
She would check on all her elatives and friends before going back to work in Nairobi.
Some time back, she donated desks to a local primary school when they reached out to her for help.
Neighbours also revealed that Catherine Kasavuli was a devoted Christian who always attended church services at Friends Quackers Church.
The burial service will be held at Nyangori high school which is situated 4.5 kilometres from her home. The road leading to the home was upgraded and marked with white powder to guide her friends and colleagues who will attend.
A memorial service was held at Friends church in Ngong, Nairobi. May Catherine Kasavuli continue resting in peace.
