Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has responded after a section of Kenyans attacked him for allegedly not consoling CS Moses Kuria after he lost his sister, Pauline Nyokabi Kuria
Kabogo has wondered if it is a must for one to post on social media when consoling others, adding that he had sent a private message to Moses Kuria, expressing his heartfelt condolences.
"Those asking why I haven’t said pole to my brother Hon Moses Kuria, I did so long ago. Do I have to post it online? Just aksing, Mungu Aiweke Roho yake Nyokabi mahala pema peponi," Kabogo tweeted.
He also shared a screenshot showing he had sent a message to Kuria via WhatsApp.
"Pole sana bro, I've just heard the sad news. Kindly receive my family's heartfelt condolences. May our lord Jesus Christ console the entire family and friends," read Kabogo's message to Moses Kuria.
Several other leaders including President William Ruto and his Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have mourned with the CS.
May the soul of the deceased rest in eternal peace.
