Currently, police in Kisumu are hunting a 22-year-old woman who allegedly killed her love rival in the fight over a man.
The reports indicate that the two women engaged in quarrels for about 20 minutes, before one of them stabbing the other one to death, using a wooden stick.
According to eyewitness, Sarah and Mercy (not the real names) said to have been fighting over a man who own business stalls in Kisumu central business district.
Mercy allegedly stormed Sarah at her bar restaurant, demanding to know why she was flirting with her husband. “Umeweka wapi bwanangu?” Mercy shouts before stabbing her friend with a wooden stick.
The victim was rushed to hospital for medications, but unfortunately, she succumbed to injuries and at around 4 pm on Thursday.
Confirming the incident, Kisumu East Sub-County Police Commander in his statements to media said the suspect has been arrested and taken into police custody, where she awaits to be arraigned in court once the investigation is completed.
