Accidents continue to rise on our roads. The main reason has not been established as to why they are taking place given that police traffic is always on the lookout.
Yesterday evening a tragic road accident occurred at Rodi Kopany in Homa Bay after a truck that was transporting sugarcane rolled several times and killed nine people on the spot including three members of the same family.

It is something that led Homa Bay aspiring governor Gladys Wanga to send a powerful condolence message to the bereaved families.
"Homa Bay County is mourning. My heart goes out to the families that are in shock following the sudden loss of their loved ones. May God comfort you in ways that only He knows." She wrote on her Facebook Page.
Kenyans reacted to the same matter. Here are some of them.
Shantel Sharon. This is sad and painful. May those affected find comfort in the Lord.
Jennifer Odhiambo. Truck tractors should not be allowed on the road at night.
Becky Bossie. Rodi has been a black spot for a long now. Something needs to be done.
