On Thursday morning, a journalist from the Standard Media Group was discovered dead along Kang'undo Road.
Mr Moses Okiror Omusolo's lifeless body was discovered inside a ditch near a major road, according to Africa.
It is unknown what caused the death of the media figure; who also wrote for Nation Media Group.
Mr. Omusulo was engaged and planning a wedding on February 20, 2023. He graduated from Masinde Muliro University in 2013.
According to authorities, a black backpack was discovered near to his corpse and included personal documents that let them identify him.
They also suspect he was murdered somewhere and his corpse was later placed in the ditch where it was discovered.
"The deceased's corpse was transferred to the mortuary, and investigations are presently underway to determine what may have occurred," Nairobi County police chief Mr Adamson Bungei said.
His death came barely a year after another journalist, Gatonye Gathura, was discovered dead at the Naivasha Sub-County Referral Hospital mortuary.
