A Bomet family is yet to come to terms with today's tragic urn of events that led to death of their 8 year old child. The 8 year old had been sent to a local shop as usual by her other little I'd she know he was not coming back .
In the Saturday afternoon,a rogue driver which the witnesses say was on high speed knocked down the child at Kaptebengwet in Konoin sub county of Bomet county . The vehicle belonged to Rorok tea factory . 
After hitting the child , the tea Cartier overturned injuring the driver and his assistant. The accident caused confusion and high emotions along the stretch as demonstration occurred. The locals demanded that they be compensated even as investigation continues .
The body of the child was taken to Longisa referral so as the two injured . The police have taken over the matter to ascertain the real cause of the accident and bring the culprits to book .
