The two aged 70 and 35,were arrested last night by community policy officers at Mung'ala village, for allegedly defiling a five year old girl yesterday. They have been taken to Mumbuni police station awaiting for investigation to end so that they can be arraigned in court .
According to the area assistant chief,Jackline Mbuva, the mother of the girl was away at work and returned later only to find her daughter unable to walk.It is at that time when she took her to Machakos level 5 hospital for examination, when the doctor revealed that she had injuries in her private parts.
After being interrogated, she said that her father(35) and grandfather (70),committed the unthinkable act on her and threatened her not to say it to anyone.
We hope that justice will be done upon the victim. I wish her a quick recovery. What is your take on this issue though? Kindly feel free to leave a comment.
