
Murder case have dorminated today's society.The Kisumu court today left the residents in shock after judge Roselyn Aburili sentenced Truphena Aswani just for a day for killing her husband.
It was reported that the husband to Truphena came home late in the night while drunk. He demanded for the title deed of the land they had recently acquired .
The wife declined to give him and the man started beating up the wife. Truphena accidentally hit him with a blunt object. Truphena said it happened as she was defending herself from the man who had turned out to be violent.The man collapsed and to died on the spot.

Truphena reported the matter to the nearby police station.The case was reported to the Kisumu Law Court .
Judge Roselyn also surprised the residents in her rulling when she requested the women who were passing through domestic violence to walk out of marriage before it is too late.
The women were also requested to report any case of violance they undergo to the nearby police station before the matter is escalated.
