Speaking on KTN News on Wednesday, Tuju revealed that he was recovering well despite being active in serving his party in different occasions, and that he broke 18 bones during the accident and so far 17 are completely healed.
"...Thank God, I am doing fine, only one bone has a problem now, but I am doing much better.." said Tuju.
The Former Rarieda Member of Parliamnet was involved in a road accident in February last year when he was heading to the burial ceremony of the second president Mzee Arap Moi in Kabarak, Nakuru County.
The accident that occurred at Magina area along the Nakuru Nairobi Highway left his prado completely destroyed after hitting a matatu.
The former journalist and TV producer was taken to Kijabe Mission Hospital before being airlifted to Karen Hospital in Nairobi.
His family however resolved to have him flown to the United Kingdom for specialized treatment and the progress has been good.
