Tragedy has struck residents of Muranga after a group of women were allegedly run over by a vehicle that allegedly lost control while heading to Mogoiri.
According to the reports given by one f the survivors, she revealed that she was at the back and so was lucky enough to escape from the accident after jumping over a Bridge.
The women who have been identified as Jane Wiiyego, Margaret Karura,Mary Njeri,Mary Waithero are said to have been coming from a Church fundraising event before the tragedy.
While reacting to this incident, the husbands of the deceased have called upon the government to consider chipping in in order to help them work on their burial plans.
However, Muranga MCA has called upon the county government to work on the road by putting a bump because according to him, this was not the first time this was happening.
In his own words, he said that about a week ago, a school kid was hit by a bus that killed him on the spot after loosing control.
