DCI Tracing Whereabouts of Students Who Jumped From Moving Vehicle After Being Busted Smoking Weed

DCI are tracing whereabouts of fourteen students who escaped from a moving matatu after they were busted smoking weed.

According to information shared on Facebook, the fourteen students from Fred's Grammer mixed secondary school had boarded the Matatu belonging to 2NK SACCO at the Karatina bus stage, headed for the midterm break.

On approaching Kibingoti along the Nyeri-Nairobi highway, the driver identified as John Maina sensed a strong aroma of Cannabis sativa coming from the back of the vehicle. On looking through the side mirror, he noticed that the students were smoking weed. He warned them but they urged him to concentrate on driving them to Nairobi.

The driver decided to branch to Sagana police station. The students dangerously escaped thorough the window.
