The story of two children who were hospitalized in Molo after eating chameleons left Kenyans reacting to it. It was reported that their elder sibling decided to prepare for them the meal alongside potatoes.

After their story was aired, the family has finally been rescued by Nakuru county governor Hon Susan Kihika.

According to information shared by Ndungu Nyoro, governor Susan Kihika has promised to offer some interventions to the mother.
The mother will be employed by the county, her family will be relocated to a better house, they will be provided for rent for three months and they will be provided food and beddings to start off in her house . In addition, her children will be taken back to school. They will be educated from primary to secondary school. Moreover, those who will opt for vocational training will be supported.
