I/CAccording to sources, a police officer attached to Masalani Police Station in Garissa County has reportedly stabbed his girlfriend to death before ending his own life by detonating a hand grenade and blowing himself to death.
It is not yet clear what ensued between the two as the incident has left more questions than answers but authorities have promised to do their best to investigate the matter and find out the truth.
Cases of lovers killing each other and mostly men stubbing ladies have been in the rise and mostly in this month of october with the country loosing two young adults who were champions and big assets to the country.
Push for police officers to go for mental counseling has been made but it seems like much has not been done since the news of killings in the force keeps popping up from time and again.
More counseling stations and especially free ones should be launched in the country since the more people seem to be undergoing problems mentally without being known or receiving relevant help.
