The woman is reported to have checked herself into the lodging on Thursday night in the company of a male companion.
While it is not clear what transpired during their overnight stay at the lodging, the woman’s male companion was nowhere to be found.
The body of the woman was found with visible physical wounds inflicted on her forehead.
“She had bruises on the forehead. It appears her attacker smashed a glass bottle against her forehead. The bedding that she had been wrapped in, was soaked in blood,” said Ayieko.
The body of the diseased was moved to Bondo District
"We also found what looked like sex enhancing drugs and some used condoms beside the body. It is suspected the deceased might have died from an overdose," Ayieko added.

"The postmortem has not been done yet,so we cannot ascertain the cause of her death at the moment,"the chief added.
