This afternoon, it has emerged that a popular teacher of Mathematics and Chemistry at the institution has been killed in Mombasa.
Earlier on, reports had emerged that Nelson Otsianda had died as a result of drowning at a pool in the hotel that he was staying in, in Mombasa while on holiday.
However, upon further investigations and review of CCTV footage, it has emerged that Mr. Nelson Otsianda was in the company of three other people well known to him.
He had traveled with the trio to Diani in Mombasa for a weekend getaway when he met his demise.
CCTV footage from the hotel shows him getting into an altercation with the trio and then a fight broke out in which they beat him up and threw him into the pool where he was found dead.
The OCPD of Diani, Daniel Nasio, had this to say about the incident, "Let them come to us or the investigating officer, as for now if there are suspicion that maybe he was killed and then thrown into the swimming pool then we shall take that lead, and we shall investigate it and if anyone is culpable then we shall arrest them."
