The cabinet Secretary for interior and national security, Professor Kithure Kindiki has warned the drivers who will be flaunting traffic rules.
The tough-talking cabinet secretary posed " I have directed the police to crackdown heavily, and without exceptions, all those found flaunting our traffic rules. I have given the Police IG my assurances that we will provide his officers with the necessary support to enforce the safety of every Kenyan on our roads."

His sentiments have just come after the NTSA issued a warning to drivers during this festive season.
The NTSA stated that road accidents are majorly attributed to drunk driving, overspeeding, driver fatigue, and unnecessary overtaking.
Road traffic accidents are common during festive seasons, and drivers have been warned to be cautious as they take their daily activities.
Hon Kindiki was also in Isiolo yesterday where he warned the bandits against attacking the locals this festive season.
He assured the residents of enough security during the festivities.
