A Form Four Student Dies After Fighting With Another Man Because of a New Woman They Met in a Bar

A form four Student at Kapsinendet Secondary School in Chepalungu sub-county Bomet county was stabbed to death by an unknown man following a brawl over a lady at a bar in the Siongirei area in Chepalungu, Bomet county.

The deceased who was 24 years old before his death was stabbed twice in the neck by the unknown man after an argument about who was the ideal man for the lady who had just visited the area recently.

The cuts on the boy's neck were deep, this was to show that he was stabbed by a sharp knife. Blood was oozing out of the neck as he was bleeding profusely. It is said that when the woman saw the extent to which the matter was going, she took to her heels disappeared into thin air never to be seen again.

Despite being on the October holidays, the deceased is said to be a day scholar at his school and visited the bar after noticing a new lady exciting his eyes. Police officers based in Chepalungu are currently holding a male suspect who is assisting them in conducting investigations. More officers have also been dispatched on the ground to assist in the investigation. Meanwhile, the deceased body was ferried to Longisa county Referral Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and preservation.
