Accidents on the Kenyan highways have been on the rise in the recent past with the government unsure of what to do in order to mitigate this scourge that has bedeviled our nation.

The National Transport and Safety Authority, NTSA, has been at the forefront of urging motorists to always be careful in order to avoid these traffic accidents that lead to loss of lives.
This evening, according to reliable reports on Thika Superhighway, there has been a nasty accident at Allsops between a pickup truck and a lorry.
It's unclear as to how many injuries have been witnessed in the freak accident that happened moments ago on the busy highway.
The accident has led to a serious traffic jam on the highway that has seen hundreds of motorists stranded on the busy road.
The traffic jam is said to stretch all the way to Muthaiga but police are at the scene assessing the situation to find a way to clear the way.
