A 23-year-old girl has reportedly stabbed his 29-year-old boyfriend to death in Gitaru, Kiambu county. She then took off and her whereabouts remain unknown.
Kelvin was 29 and had been dating the lady identified by his father as Ann Waithera from Nyahururu for over a year before he met his death.
"The neighbour heard the noise and then he came to call me, I went to my son's house then met the girlfriend running out. I even thought she was running because she was the one being beaten.
When I entered the room I found my son lying in a pool of blood. He had been stubbed around the neck. I called in the neighbour and as I rushed to ignite the car to take him to hospital, the neighbour told me he was already dead." Narrated Kelvin's dad.
The deputy sub-county police commander Martin Wekesa has confirmed the incident and assured the family that the police have launched a hunt for the girl so that she can tell what she knows about the murder.
