Kenya Wildlife Service is thrown into mourning after the sudden death of their two officers who died in the line of duty.According to the source, a land cruiser belonging to the Kenya wildlife service was hit by an improvised explosive device( IED) which was allegedly planted by suspected Al-shabab.
Sources revealed that the suspects went ahead and burnt the vehicle to ashes before disappearing from the scene of the crime. Two officers were feared dead while being rushed to the hospital.
Two others escaped with injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital. Police officers were deployed to the region and persuaded to flash out the suspects.
This comes barely a day after another incident occurred where two police officers were ambushed murdered by Al-shabab in the same county after spraying bullets on passengers. Opera wishes to send our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends. May their souls rest in peace.
