It's now evident that the issue of violence between couples is becoming heinous and alarming in the recent days. Just hours since the burial of Athlete Agnes Tirop, another shocking news has emerged following the killing of another middle aged woman together with her daughter after wrangles in the relationship or rather marriage axis.

According to reports, a 35-year-old man from Kabururu Village, Tharaka Nithi county has hacked his 27-year-old former wife to death today shortly before beheading her 6-year-old daughter who was bitterly crying foul over her already lifeless mother using a slasher.
The suspect is reported to have run into thin air moments after commiting the crime. A statement from the area Deputy County Commissioner, Mr Fred Masinjira indicates that the two bodies were found lifeless and transferred to Chuka County Referral Mortuary.
A probe to search the suspect from his hideouts has already been launched amid the fears from the family of the diseased woman that he (suspect) may go for their lives too. Mr Ireri Njie who's the father of the diseased woman has called for the police to offer them security until the suspect is nubbed by the relevant authority.
