Nairobi Expressway is one of the busiest highways situated in Nairobi city. This toll highway measures about 27 kilometers in length. It is an elevated national road link located adjacent to Mombasa dual carriageway.
The road was built to help in easing traffic congestion in the city of Nairobi. It is therefore a key economic flagship in Kenya. According to report by Ma3Route today, motorists and other road users using the ultramodern Nairobi Expressway are now experiencing alot of challenges.
The report have it that lack of rumble strips or main bumps on Nairobi Expressway exit at Capital Center is putting lives of road users at risk.
Concerned people are now requesting Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) and Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) to look into the matter so that more bumps and rumble strips can be constructed to help in slowing down motorists entering Capital Center or joining main Mombasa road.
