Kirinyanga university has been thrown into deep mourning on Tuesday morning after one of the colleagues identified as Felix Kibet Terer was found dead in river Thiba.
Felix who had gone missing on December 15 was reported dead on Monday, 19 evening after his body was found lifeless in river Thiba which flows near Kirinyanga university.
According to reports from sources, the deceased has since then been taken to the morgue pending autopsy.
Felix, a third year student pursuing Economics and finance was last seen at Riverside, Kirinyaga University on Thursday evening and a missing persons post was shared on social media aimed at finding him to no avail.
However, as fate would have it, Felix was found dead recently to the sorrow of his family. It is however not clear what caused his demise but police are expected to launch investigations into the matter.
