Family in Ebwala village in Kakamega county are still grieving after losing a total of five family members perished in the accident in Kaburengu bridge accident.

They revealed that they were depending on the three family members to provide them with food. However, they claimed that they have been left with nothing and also they are struggling to raise their children. They urge the government to intervene in the situation and also solve help them to raise the children of the deceased.

The accident happened recently in Kaburengu bridge and claimed the lives of several passengers. However, the police officers had declared that drivers should he vigilant while driving their vehicles to avoid such cases. They urged the residents to remain calm as they are still carrying out investigation to determine the cause of accident. Furthermore, the county government of Kakamega has promised that they will pay for the hospital bills for those who perished.
