As the dust continues to settle in Laikipia, the government is doing everything it can to give Laikipia people all the best. The county government has decided to appoint new officers who will be keen on a number of things. According to The Nation, the new appointees are to play specihic duties include enforcing County Laws, Rules and Regulations, detecting and preventing crime.
Apart from those duties highlighted above, the new appointees will help in apprehending offenders, assisting in preparing charge sheet and prosecuting law breakers. They will also help in sensitizing the public on compliance to county laws and regulations. This is basically providing security to all county properties and institutions.
For one to merit, the following requirements are needed for appointment;
1. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education orequvalent and relevant qualification from a recognized
2. A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from Kenya Police
3. Candidates must be aged 18-35 years
4. Candidates must meet the prescribed physical and mentally fit criteria
5. Female applicants should not be pregnant during recruitment a nd entire training period
6. Minimum Height; Men:- (Sft 6in)Women:-(5ft 3in)
