Fire Brigade are still searching for bodies of two class eight candidate that drowned in Theta Dam in Kiambu county.
According to reports, the two candidates drowned in the dam during a trip.
Reports also states, the pupils are from Comejuu Premier Academy Primary School in Komothai, Githunguri.
According to their Headteacher David Paul Kang'ethe; sixty pupils were drawn from class eight and grade six and taken to an excursion too Kinare forest.
Unfortunately, the two candidates, both boys aged 14, who were to write their national exams starting Monday 28th November 2022 ended up drowning under unclear circumstance.
Currently, officers from Kiganjo police station are working jointly with their counterparts from Mindoro police post and detectives from Gatundu to Know how the incident occurred.
Otherwise, a search operation that kicked off after the boys slipped into Theta Dam at around 4:30 pm on Friday is still going on.
May God help in finding the two bodies.
