Police this morning have disrupted a burial service of Mahoo Ward Member of County Assembly Hon Ronald Hanel Sagurani chasing away mourners and dismantling tents. Dp William Ruto was scheduled to attend the burial.
Sagurani was a Jubilee party ward representative and Taita Taveta county Assembly leader of minority. He passed away on Tuesday last week in a Mombasa hospital.
The burial service was expected to draw huge crowds of people ahead of Ruto's attend. It is believed that the police officers received an order to disrupt the service in what is termed as weakening Dp Ruto politically.
The late Hon Sagurani was a close associate of Dp Ruto and It is believed that Ruto was likely to respond to President Kenyatta's message that required him to resign from office.
