Notice: The Government Warns Of Heavy Rainfall In Counties From Today, Check If Affected

The government have warned Kenyans of rain that is expected to start from today. The rain is expected to go up to 20th of September 2021 and may cause great havoc.

The metrological department has given a report that if most Kenyans take seriously, they will be less affected by the rain.

The regions expected to be affected includes the highlands west of the Rift valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, Central Rift valley, North Western Kenya and the Highlands East of the Rift Valley. Areas that are expected to recieve more rainfall from tomorrow include Turkana, Samburu, Wajir and Isiolo.

The government on the other side had set aside Kshs. 2 billion a week ago to cub drought in Northern parts of the country. These Northern regions are the ones again expected to receive most rain.

This comes shortly after President Kenyatta had declared drought as a national disaster and therefore some amount is expected to be set aside during budgeting.
