Heavy rains have been witnessed throughout the better part of January with floods and occasional inconvenience being witnessed across the country.

There had been drought for a while but now, the rains are back again and some if not most parts of the country, will experience serious rains in the coming few days.
According to the Meteorology Department in Kenya, seven regions are expected to witness heavy rainfall going into the weekend until Monday.
Other regions like North Eastern and Coast can expect strong winds accompanied by the heavy downpour that will be witnessed this weekend.
Kenya Met says Narok, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Kajiado, Taita Taveta, Kwale to receive occasional rainfall and strong winds in Coast, North Eastern until Monday.
People who live in these places have been advised to keep warm and to avoid any places that might experience flooding as the rains progress.
Kenyans have always been advised to ensure that they carry an umbrella if they live in these select towns.
