Police in Makindu, Makueni County are currently looking for who attacked his wife very badly for allegedly trying to leave him. According to sources, the 29-year-old woman is currently nursing serious Injuries at Makindu hospital.
Reports indicates that the man teamed up with his mother to attack the woman with a panga for alleged infidelity and rejecting the man. She was badly injured. The suspects are currently at large and efforts to nab them have been put in place.
The woman is currently in hospital where she is receiving treatment for her deep injuries. Kenyans have condemned the inhumane act meted against the woman saying that people should know how to move on with their lives when they are dumped.
They have urged the relevant authorities to investigate the incident as soon as possible and serve justice to the victim. They claim that it is very painful for someone to be attacked and injured simply because they rejected someone's love proposal. Domestic and Gender Based Violence has been on the rise and the authorities are trying to educate the community about its effect.
