The mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Police officer Caroline Kangogo have continued to raise more questions than answers amongst Kenyans.
Fugitive police officer Caroline Chemutai Kangogo was lifeless and soaked blood in her bathroom at her family home.
Kangogo was found wearing a yellow hood, holding a gun and her legs were enclosed together which, made most people suspect that she was murdered somewhere else before being brought to her home.
Her Father Barnaba Kipkoech Korir maintains that the daughter killed herself at the bathroom and denounced rumors that she was murdered by other people.
While speaking to People Daily, he continued to say that she was dropped home by a boda boda rider who did not recognize her.
Alice Kibet, a resident of Nyawa village where the late Kangogo was born and raised urged the police to carry out speedy investigation to ascertain the cause of death of Kangogo.
In what happens to give Kangogo's death a new twist, a report by People Daily indicates that she booked two hotel rooms in Kabarnet town, Baringo County on July 14 but did not spend the night in any of them.
One of the Waiters disclosed that she borrowed a phone but declined to give her as she wanted to clear her bill.
The managers of the two hotels in the town’s Central Business District (CBD) confirmed that indeed Kangogo booked the rooms but did not sleep in any of them after realising detectives were following her very closely.
