Spouse of hotel attendant found murdered, body dumped outside GSU Recce squad camp, was jealous

Spouse of hotel attendant found murdered and body dumped outside GSU Recce squad camp, was jealous, workmate said.

The body of Esther Wambui, 18, was found discovered next to the Ruiru GSU Recce squad camp on January 17, 2021 stashed in a suitcase.

Her workmate at a hotel in the area revealed that her spouse, Joseph Ngige, was a jealous man, argued he refused.

"I think Bobo (Wambui) was undergoing something emotionally on love matters, and the spouse was not comfortable," the source revealed.

Juja police commander Dorothy Miragusha who confirmed the incident said preliminary findings showed that the lady, aged between 18 and 20, was strangled to death.

“The body was covered with a nylon sack and stashed in a black suitcase. The hands were tied on her back and her legs were trapped together using a manila rope. A nylon string was tied around her neck,” read a police report filed at the Mugutha Police Station.

Miragusha added that preliminary investigations indicates that the young lady was murdered elsewhere and her body deserted in Kimbo. The woman’s body was later transferred to the City Mortuary.
