There has been a rise in the number of kidnappings in the country with some ending up very badly for the victims. It is their families that have to pick up the pieces and start over without their loved one.

This is what has befallen one family in Alego/Usonga that is found in Siaya County. The body of a missing 9-year-old boy has been found but the way it is is what is even more shocking.

The young boy seems to have been beheaded before his remains were disposed off. The torso and the head were found buried in separate places and this has brought a lot of fear for parents in the neighborhood.
Police have launched investigations into how this could have happened in an otherwise quiet rural neighborhood. The murder is a mystery as the boy has been missing with no communication from whoever might have taken him.
