There were tears of joy and celebrations in Kilulu village, Kwale county after a lady reunited with her family after 25 years of being apart.
Sarah got lost in the streets of Tudor, Mombasa in 1998 when she was only 4 years old. She could not explain the directions of her home or give clear definitions of her parents.
The only thing she could remember was that her mom was named Susan and her dad was a truck driver. She could also remember that her nickname was Katoi. She only spoke pure kamba at the time, thus making it hard for people who didn't understand the language to communicate with her.
She ended up being taken to an orphanage where she grew up for years until she got a job in Nairobi.
With the help of Musyi FM, she was able to trace her parents Susan and Charles Koli who now live in Shimba hills, Kwale county.
