On the night of October 20th, activist Boniface Mwangi's family house was bombed by unknown people. Next morning is when the news made rounds as Mwangi had informed netizens about it through his twitter account.

The activist has taken to his instagram page to share a video showing one of his site workers narrating the events that transpired that night.

"We had gone to the shopping centre to buy supper. Zacharia was ahead of us, on reaching the main entrance, we found he had already locked the gate .We then decided to use the other entrance. As we passed by the main entrance, we saw a double-cab pick up parked with one person inside. Upon noticing that we had seen him, he greeted us. As we approached the gate to enter, we saw two people at a nearby tree."

"As we unlocked the chain to the gate, the two guys accosted us.They were armed and had cocked their guns. They pointed the guns at us and ordered us to lie down. We woke up only to find them gone."

"We then decided to check the house to see if anything had been stolen. That is when my colleague said he could smell something. Shortly after, we discovered a strange looking object. On further examination, we discovered that the house had been bombed," narrated one site worker by the name Olundo.
