Different police units have today, 7 March 2021 combined their efforts to arrest ex-KDF officer.
The KDF officer who is said to have deserted the forces was nabbed with dangerous weapons.
A combined team of officers from DCI and general service officers From Migori Police Station acting on intelligence raided the home of Brian Nyainda Ogolla of Ngege Village, Ngege Sub-location, Suna Ngege Location, Suna East Subcounty and Migori County.
Ogolla, ex-KDF, was found with an AK47 gun that had been hidden under his bed. Two defective magazines were also found.
Furthermore, 52 Rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition were also recovered from sofa set cushions.
According to the OB number seen by this writer as shared on social media, the ex-KDF officer was based at the Embakasi Garrison and was working under the helicopter command.
"It Is Believed That The Suspect Deserted From Kdf On September 2020 Being Service No.150739 Attached To Joint Helicopter Command, Embakasi Garrison," read the police update in part.
