Kenya has been sent into mournig after reports that a school bus ferrying 30 Catholic Church Members to a wedding plunged in a river in Kitui this afternoon. A few minutes ago a School bus has been swept away by water as it was attempting to cross overflowing Enziu River at Nuu Ward in Mwingi, Kitui County. Our prayers are with everyone who has been affected.
According to the latest reports, so far three people have already been reported dead while a score others are missing. The passengers were identified as members of the Mwingi Catholic Church who were heading to a wedding. This is a sad news not only to the Catholic Church in Kenya but to Kenyans and the world as a whole.
