Panic as locals stumble upon burnt human body dumped beside the road, Nairobi County.
Police are now probing the incident in which a burnt body of a man was discovered beside the roadside in Marigoini slums, Muthaiga.
Police who toured the scene said that the body had been burnt beyond recognition.
Beside the body there was a 5-liter jerrican which contained unknown chemical that is believed to have been used to burn the body.
According to one resident identified only as Michael, a Bodaboda operator saw the body first and alerted the public.
Michael further said that what shocked them more was that the body burnt beyond recognition.
Nairobi County Police Commander confirmed the incident saying they were able to identify the deceased.
He said that police believed that the deceased might have been murdered elsewhere and his body transferred to the scene. 
The body of the deceased was transferred to the hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
